Nadezhda Georgieva will conduct a one-day workshop suitable for children aged eight to fourteen. During the workshop children will learn the basics of screen printing on paper and textiles, experiment with different colored inks and be able to print their own t-shirts and mini art prints. Each child can bring up to three t-shirts and the paper for the prints will be provided by the studio.
The workshop will be held in Sito Studio, a shared hand screen printing studio. The studio offers courses in serigraphy as well as various alternative techniques such as cyanotype, linocut and ebru - painting on water. Their mission is to introduce the public to the world of screen printing from development to printing individual projects.
Nadezhda Georgieva - Nad is a skilled freelance illustrator, graphic designer and artist, with extensive experience in event organization and leadership. Originally graduated BFA in Visual Communication and Master in Artistic Psycho-social Work and Psychodrama. Worked many years in marketing and advertising fields, founder of Sito Studio. To date, she has trained many participants at Sito Studio and has given screen printing demonstrations to audiences of all ages. Nadezhda is a talented head and project manager passionate about screen printing and presenting workshops.
